add spotter arms

Everything is sound, but the stands have no spotter arms, so heavy benching on my own needed extra kit. I'd also have liked a thicker bench pad for long sessions.

plates add up fast

70 kg of plates is plenty for the first year. I'll add more 5s soon. The spring collars are basic, so I swapped to lockjaws, but the rest is the right gear.

bar, stands and bench in one order

Ordered on a Sunday and everything arrived by Wednesday in five boxes. The stands are stable, the bench is firm and the plates are a good start. I'm squatting 90 kg most weeks.
